We're excited to bring you one of the most compact and innovative lighting solutions for your next R/C project, by introducing the new Dinky R/C Micro-Lite Controller!
Designed in collaboration with the developer of ESCape32, so you know it's gotta be a solid piece of hardware. We've given this unit all the functions you want, without all the "flashing mode/turn signal" bloat you don't! All in a super compact form factor, with as many bells & whistles as we could throw at it!
Versatile enough to work with any brand of ESC, the Dinky R/C Micro-Lite Controller will not only bring back the use of your existing led's to your OEM light system. It will also give you the added scale realism of functional brake lights, reverse lights, and up to 3 stages of lighting with the use of a 2 or 3 position 3rd channel switch on your radio.
The included 4 led ports are based around the OEM SCX30 style of led's. Featuring the super small MX1.25 plugs, providing 6v & 1-2amps on each of the LED outputs. We went with this option to keep things compact, lightweight, and easy to tuck away on your vehicle. While allowing you to add a variety of aftermarket lighting options available to customize your own setup. Such as fog lights, light bars, rock lights, and y-harness's in order to build out the 3 lighting stages as you like!
The Dinky R/C Micro-Lite Controller(MLC) works as a pass-thru device, using the signals from your ESC to interpret the led commands as you drive. Simply plug you ESC's reciever lead into the "INPUT" side of the MLC, and use the included male-to-male servo extension to connect the "OUTPUT" to you recievers channel 2 throttle port.
If you have a 3rd channel available, you can also use the included single wire male-to-male servo extension to connect to the center-line "L" for either 2-way or 3-way lighting stage control from your radio.
(Refer to your transmitters manual for directions to complete setup for your 3rd channel toggle)
If you don't have a 3rd channel available, your full led light system will always be "ON", with brake and reverse functions still intact and fully functional.

Basic Instructions:
Disconnect battery from vehicle.
Unplug your ESC from your receiver.
Connect your ESC to the Micro-Lite Controller servo port "INPUT", noting the servo plug orientation marked top & bottom of the MLC.
Use the supplied male-to-male 3pin servo extension to connect from the MLC "OUTPUT" to your ch2 reciever port.
At this point, if you don't have a ch3 available, you're done and ready to enjoy brake & reverse light functions, plus both LED1 & LED2 will be in the "ON" position everytime you plug in your vehicle.
If you have a 3rd channel available, you'll plug in the supplied single wire male-to-male servo extension into the servo port labeled "L" on the MLC, and then connect the other end to the ch3 port of your receivers signal line. This will give you control of the LED1 & LED2 outputs thru your ch3 2-way or 3-way toggle switch.
2-way will turn on both LED1 & LED2 at once for your second toggle position. While 3-way operation will give you the 2-stage control of LED1 & LED2. Giving you the ability to control all 3 lighting stages individually.
Light Stages:
1. Daytime mode - Brake lights & Reverse lights
2. Night mode - Brk, Rev, and LED1
3. Bright mode - Brk, Rev, LED1, LED2
Typical Lighting Setups using 3pos/ch3:
Brake & reverse lights as normal, and work as they should in "Daytime mode" in position 1 of your 3rd channel switch.
Then head & tail-lights on the LED1 port can be activated in ch3/position 2 for "Night mode".
You'll keep your Brake and Reverse functions, and brake lights become two brightness levels.
The 3rd position "Bright mode" stage can be used for your fog lights, roof lights, and rock lights. Using y-harness's to expand your ports will increase the flexibility of your install.
